Welcome to the website of “A class of distributions which includes the normal one: Foundational contributions and recent advancements on skewed distributions” hosted in the historic setting of the University of Padova.
The workshop will feature a tutorial on the first day by Professor Adelchi Azzalini, who pioneered the research on skewed distributions. This tutorial will be followed by several invited sessions with 45-minute presentations from internationally recognized experts celebrating foundational results and presenting recent advancements that push the boundaries of theory, methodology, computation, and application of skewed distributions.
